It’s summer! To Long-Sharp Gallery that means Masterpiece London. Regrettably, the fair is online once more.
To keep things interesting, Emperia has again rendered our Masterpiece stand in virtual reality and placed it on the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital (Chelsea). An audio component has been added. Please be sure to listen to the insightful commentary by the curators from Tandem Press when viewing works by Derrick Adams and Judy Pfaff. Adams and Pfaff are new to our Masterpiece stand, as is British sculptor Wendy Taylor. An absolute knock-out large-scale work by David Hockney (from an edition of 25) is in the stand – spend some time with it (and be sure to enjoy the film of the work). For those of you who have reached out regarding Mel Bochner, the wait is over. And, last but certainly not least, drawings by Andy Warhol and a table-top sculpture by Tarik Currimbhoy round out this year’s stand. Read more…
