Line is fundamental to drawing and painting.  One of the seven elements of fine art creations (the others: shape, form, value, space, texture and color), line is perhaps the most fundamental.  It alone can express emotion, feelings, and more.  At Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary 2025, Long-Sharp Gallery’s exhibition, “The Line”, explores how the line’s evolution can be traced through art, fashion, and design.

This theme will be explored through works by the following artists: Anni Albers, Tarik Currimbhoy, Rachel Hellmann, Julia Ibbini, Roy Lichtenstein, Oliver Marsden, Daniel Mullen, Jason Myers, Cha Jong Rye, and Andy Warhol.
