According to the Artist:

pink abstract sculpture

This is a 1:10 scale version of my sculpture Salvia Corrupted (at left). It is made from stainless steel that was cut, welded, and polished and then powder-coated. The sculpture is loosely based on the plant Salvia or sage which often has a bright pink flower. This traditional English perennial is known for its pain-relieving qualities in some species as well as being an hallucinogen in other varieties. This work comes from the Indeterminate series of sculptures. These works act as man-made versions of natural structures, emulating the wild growth patterns seen in plants by using one continuous line that twists and turns and grows back in on itself.
