Aurora I
The Aurora series is a meditation on color, light, and the expansive possibilities of the book form. Each digitally-printed column can be folded down into a thin accordion book that can be held in the hand. This tension of both/and interests me – work that is both print and book, both 2D and 3D, both static and dynamic, both delicate and loud. The back of each book is painted in neon red, creating a glow of pink that peeks out from behind each book, reminiscent of the light at dawn.
