Not So Secret Garden

After the quiet slumber of winter, the world wakens itself again in the spring. Long-Sharp Gallery welcomes this change in Not So Secret Garden, an exhibition inspired by one of humanity’s most ubiquitous fascinations - nature. The earth is embraced in the untamed skies of Amy Kirchner and Tamar Kander, the organic patterns of Patrick Hurst and Julia Ibbini, and in the domesticated gardens of Joan Miró, Andy Warhol and Donald Sultan. Flora and fauna come alive in the works of Nicola Pietrantoni, Wayne Warren, and David Spiller; Sabina Klein and Howard Hodgkin reinvent the seasonal landscape; prints by Jason Myers personify the elements. Hosting works of nature, the gallery becomes a garden.

A First Friday reception, sponsored by Conrad Indianapolis, will take place on March 7 from 6-9pm.
