Andy Warhol: A Survey of Portrait and Figurative Drawings from the Mid-1950s

  • Long-Sharp Gallery 1 N Illinois Street, Suite A Indianapolis United States (map)

Celebrating Andy Warhol’s birthday (August 6, 1928) and their 15th year in business, Long-Sharp Gallery Indianapolis opens the exhibit Andy Warhol: A Survey of Portrait and Figurative Drawings from the Mid-1950s on August 6, 2021.  The exhibit consists of nearly two dozen drawings spanning subject matter from Warhol's international travels to his portraits from the decade. An exhibition of photographs taken by Warhol will open simultaneously in Conrad Indianapolis. Many of these works make their public debut in these exhibitions.

Please join us for a First Friday opening of the exhibition on August 6th from 6-9pm. The opening reception is sponsored by Conrad Indianapolis. For the health and safety of our community, masks are required for those unvaccinated; given current CDC guidelines, masks are requested for all. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to visit the virtual exhibit.
